Child Care and Youth Services
General Information
The Child Care and Youth Services Department, which was established under the Iğdır University Health Services Vocational School, was established in 2014 with the decision of the Board of Directors and the Senate and started education in 2014. It has 2 (two) programs.
Purpose: The Child Development program was established to meet the need for education and counseling so that children can live in a healthy environment. The aim of the program is to train intermediate staff to all units that provide services to the child, family and society in this field with a training program that supports the development of children with a normal need of 0-18 years of normal development and special needs.
Vision: To be a department that is creative, safe, knows the social values, can provide care, education, and educates child developers who are preferred primarily in the field of national and international health and education.
Mission: Supporting the development and education of 0-18 age healthy / special needs children and young people in line with changing science, technology, education and health requirements, enlightening families and society about the healthy development and education of the child, having care, protection, education and research skills, to raise child developers to meet the intermediate staff needs of the field.
