Medical Laboratory Techniques Program
Within the framework of this program; Laboratory technicians who can use modern technology are trained in all departments of medical laboratories (biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, endocrinology, etc.) who are well versed in basic laboratory techniques.
In line with the features and principles of the Medical Laboratory Program, after the students receive theoretical information about the subject; They participate in the practice within the scope of "Clinical Practice Laboratories" courses in the laboratories of the hospitals (Medical Faculty Hospitals, State Hospitals, Private hospitals) under the supervision of instructors. At the end of the first year, our students complete their summer internship, which is mandatory 40 working days, in clinical laboratories.
Quality and accreditation, and the increasing number of hospitals in health services, which have gained importance in the last decade, have also increased the need for qualified healthcare teams. When our students take courses from other programs as a minor in addition to their information about the Medical Laboratory Technology Program, they will be able to rise to higher levels in time, depending on their success and self-improvement.
Graduates of this program will be able to be employed in hospitals and medical laboratories.
